Laws - No bid for Beevers
Sheffield Wednesday boss Brian Laws has dismissed reports linking Tottenham with a move for Mark Beevers.
Reports emanating on Thursday suggested Spurs were lining up a £2million bid for Beevers as they look to ease their defensive problems.
Beevers has established himself as one of the best young players outside the top flight and Laws insists he is keen to keep the defender at Hillsborough.
"There is no truth in it whatsoever. There has been no contact from any club about Mark Beevers," Laws told the Sheffield Star.
"He is a player with a great future ahead of him. We value him highly. We want to keep our best players."
