Lallana ready for action
Southampton winger Adam Lallana claims he is now back to full fitness and is ready to take the frustration of a blank weekend out on Brentford.
Lallana underwent knee surgery earlier this season but is now back in the sort of form which has seen him linked with the likes of Fulham and Wolves in the past.
Saints' clash at Hartlepool last Saturday was postponed due to the weather so Lallana is desperate to get back in action when the Bees arrive at St Mary's this weekend.
"I think I've reached my maximum fitness now, and I've been back playing for a good few months," he said.
"It was frustrating that the game was off last weekend but we've used it as a chance to rest, so we're going to be as fresh as ever for Saturday's game."
