Koren happy to stay put
Robert Koren insists he is happy at West Brom and has no intention of joining up with Tony Mowbray at Celtic.
Following the club's relegation last season, the 28-year-old midfielder has been linked with a summer move, with Celtic, Fulham, Birmingham, Tottenham and Wigan among the sides reported to be interested.
But while Koren is not ruling out the possibility that he may leave before the end of the month, he has suggested that he is more likely to remain at the Hawthorns.
"The transfer window is not closed yet," he said.
"There are still some days remaining, but I must admit that I'm very happy at West Brom.
"I have a contract, I'm respected here and it would be very hard to leave.
"Of course, if an offer came in that suited both me and the club then I could leave, but I'm happy at West Brom and would have no problems staying."
With Celtic boss Mowbray having signed Koren for the Baggies in 2007, it had been thought that the player may be tempted by a move to Celtic Park, but he has now ruled out a switch north of the border.
"He was the one who bought me to England," he said.
"He gave me the chance to prove myself and for that I will always be grateful to him.
"We had a great relationship, but sooner or later everybody goes his own way.
"He is at Celtic now and I wish him all the best, but I will not move to Scotland.
"I'm staying in England."
