Chronic injury: Ledley King, in action for Tottenham[LNB]Harry Redknapp has tipped Ledley King for a shock England call-up for the World Cup finals in South Africa this summer.[LNB]Fabio Capello is an admirer of the 29-year-old defender and handed King a call-up last season but a knee problem forced the Tottenham star to withdraw from that squad and means he is physically unable to play matches in quick succession. [LNB]King has offered previous England bosses valuable back-up to first choice centre-halves John Terry and Rio Ferdinand but the Spurs man has not played for his country since June 2007 due to seemingly endless injury problems.[LNB] Spurs boss Redknapp, however, insists King is so good, Capello can ill afford to leave him at home. [LNB]'You'd take him to the World Cup all day long, he's that good,' Redknapp said. [LNB]'He's special, that's why when he's fit I play him. He's desperate to play for England and he'd love to go to the World Cup. [LNB]'I think he could go, if you need him he's there. If you lose Terry or you lose Rio, you know he's going to come in and do a job for you. [LNB]'He'd be available; you're not going to weaken your team. If you're in a semi-final and you have a suspension you can bring him in, he's a fantastic player.'[LNB] Spurs 0 Aston Villa 0: Friedel shows fourth is not with Redknapp's menBentley must stay in top gear, says Tottenham manager Harry RedknappForget race for fourth place, battle to finish third is still on, says RedknappTOTTENHAM HOTSPUR FC
