King targets consistent away form

Ledley King believes Tottenham's away form could be vital to their progress this season as they continue to enjoy a fine start to the campaign. King scored his first goal of the season in the 2-1 victory over Portsmouth on Saturday. It was Tottenham's third away win this term and pushed them into third place in the Barclays Premier League. "It's going to be a tough league this season, every game is tough and teams will drop points," said King. "We're always confident at home so away form will be vital. We didn't play well at the start of the second half and obviously the sending off made it more difficult. "The result shows the resilience we now have in the squad. That's three wins and a draw away from home so far and it shows we've improved in that department and we can get results away from home. "That will be the difference between us really pushing on."
