President Igor Surkis says Dynamo Kiev are in talks over a deal for Tottenham's Niko Kranjcar after he spent the season warming the bench.[LNB] Spurs are prepared to offload the Croatia international this summer after seeing him slip down the White Hart Lane pecking order.[LNB]Kranjcar has aired his frustration at a lack of first-team activity on numerous occasions and is pushing for an exit.[LNB]Atletico Madrid and Wolfsburg are reported to have expressed an interest in his services, but no deal has been done as yet.[LNB]That has left the door open for Kiev to make their move, with the Ukrainian giants determined to secure a big-name signing after missing out on a number of other top targets.[LNB]They have already sounded out Kranjcar's agent and hope a meeting can now be set up with Spurs.[LNB]"We are negotiating for Kranjcar," said Surkis. "We still have to meet him and Tottenham, but he is in our transfer plans.[LNB]"We have already missed out on several players - not because we aren't able to meet the demands of their clubs but because not everyone wants to come to the Ukrainian league.[LNB]"If Kranjcar thinks over our proposal, searches his soul and wants to come here, then we will buy him with pleasure."
