Stoke manager Tony Pulis has confirmed Kenwyne Jones could be available to play against Tottenham at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday.   [LNB]Jones, who joined the Potters earlier this month for a club record fee, limped off with an ankle problem barely 10 minutes into their Barclays Premier League opener at Wolves last weekend, prompting fears he might be facing an extended spell on the sidelines.   [LNB]However, a series of scans and X-rays showed the striker had suffered only minor ligament damage and having started running again already, Jones could make an immediate return to action in Stoke's first home match of the season.   [LNB] Quick return: Jones (left) could face Tottenham at the Britannia Stadium[LNB]'He is much better,' Pulis said. 'I went running with him and managed to stay up with him, so he is still not as fit as he should be! But we are very pleased that it is not a serious injury.'[LNB]Asked if Saturday's game might be too early for Jones, Pulis said: 'I'm not sure. He ran yesterday and we were pleased - if he gets a reaction, that will push him back a bit.   [LNB]'But if there is no reaction then hopefully he can do a little bit more today and tomorrow, and he's got an outside chance.'[LNB] Shawcross slams Craddock for his 'bad challenge' on Stoke's £8m man Jones Sign up to our FREE Fantasy Football game - with £40,000 in prize money up for grabsStoke complete signing of Ipswich striker Walters for £2.75mStoke boss Pulis handed injury boost with Jones to be out for just 'days'STOKE CITY FC
