Keane: We must maintain good form

Tottenham captain Robbie Keane insists the team must remain consistent if they are to capitalise on their fine first half of the season. Keane labelled Tottenham's first half of the campaign as "fantastic" but knows that more of the same is needed as Harry Redknapp's side look to break into the top four of the Barclays Premier League. Spurs are now entering a key period of the campaign with five games in a fortnight between January 16-30. They have won 11 and lost just five of their 20 matches so far and sit fifth in the Barclays Premier League ahead of Saturday's clash against Hull at White Hart Lane. "If you'd have gone back to the start of the season, before a ball was kicked, I'm sure we'd have taken this all day long," said Keane. "It's been a fantastic start but it's all well and good having a good start, you need to keep that consistency going until the end of the season because that's when you are judged. "It's important as a group of players that we continue the level of performances we've produced in the first half of the season and maintain that form in the second half."
