Keane - Things are looking up

Tottenham Hotspur captain Robbie Keane has insisted the club are very much in the hunt for a European berth this season. Despite enduring the worst start to a league campaign in their history, Spurs now find themselves within three points of seventh place, which should be enough to seal Europa League qualification. Saturday's 1-0 victory over London rivals West Ham United proved a significant scalp for Tottenham, and Keane is now looking forward rather than over his shoulder. "There is no reason why we can't (qualify for a Europa League place)," said the Irishman. Keane has also hailed the effect of manager Harry Redknapp, who took over last October, and called on his team-mates to take their momentum into next season. The former Liverpool striker added: "If we can kick on past the 40-point mark then next season we can push on. "Harry has a great reputation. He's come in now and given the players belief."
