Jordan wants Chelsea scalp

Tottenham first-team coach Joe Jordan has underlined the importance of the derby against Chelsea. Spurs take on last season's double winners and this season's early pacesetters in the Premier League at White Hart Lane. "It's a major game for us," Jordan told the club's official website. "We're on a good run and we have the chance to catch up on a team above us. "Chelsea won the double last season and if you asked me at the start of the season, I would say they were favourites to win the Premier League again and retain their title. "The way they started the season proved that point. But it's a long season and they are in a bit of a trough at the moment and the teams around them have caught up. "That's what we want to do. We want the opportunity in a home game to get the three points and see if we can get a little closer."
