Jordan looks for consistency

Tottenham assistant manager Joe Jordan insists they must learn to be more consistent, especially after European games, if they are to finish in the top four for the second successive season. Spurs earned their first Barclays Premier League victory in five games with a 4-2 demolition of Blackburn at White Hart Lane. Tottenham's glorious 3-1 home win over Inter Milan in the Champions League was followed by a 4-2 defeat at Bolton and a 1-1 home draw with Sunderland and Jordan admits it is something they have to look at. "It is something we have got to improve on," said Jordan. "After the last European night a lot of teams struggled a bit. Chelsea did, we certainly did, Man Utd got a late goal and Arsenal got beaten at home. It is something that is an extra demand. "We want to get into the top four. We are enjoying what rewards we have got from the opportunities to play against teams like Inter Milan and Werder Bremen. "But to do that again we have got to show consistency and in the games that we have not collected the points, we have not been consistent."
