Jordan hails Bale

Tottenham assistant coach Joe Jordan joined in the praise for Gareth Bale after the midfielder destroyed Blackburn with two goals. Bale also made Tottenham's second for Roman Pavlyuchenko in another superb solo performance from the Wales international in the 4-2 victory. Striker Peter Crouch got on the scoresheet for the first time in the Barclays Premier League this season as Tottenham recorded their first victory in five domestic games. Blackburn threatened to make a game of it late on when David Dunn's goalbound shot was deflected home by Ryan Nelson and Gael Givet added a second in the final minute. "At the moment Bale is a provider and he is also scoring goals," said Jordan, standing in for an under the weather Harry Redknapp. "He is so positive going forward but he also does a shift when we have not got the ball. He has got the energy to do that. "I think Crouchy deserved it. He has scored his goals abroad this season. But to get it in the manner he did, typifies his game. He followed it up and pounced. It was a terrific goal."
