Jol: Spurs not big enough for Luis
Martin Jol has taken a swipe at his former employers Tottenham by insisting they are not big enough to sign Ajax's Luis Suarez this summer.[LNB] The Uruguayan star is already attracting a great deal of attention from around Europe after two stunning seasons in Amsterdam.[LNB]Spurs are understood to have joined the list of admirers, but Ajax coach Jol has told them they would be wasting their time.[LNB]"I know that Luis will not leave Ajax for - with all due respect - a club like Tottenham Hotspur," he said. "He will only go to one of the very top clubs."[LNB]Suarez himself has recently stated that he does not intend to leave Ajax this summer.
