Inter declare Milito interest

Inter Milan have been linked with a move for Genoa striker Diego Milito.[LNB] The Rossoblu president Enrico Preziosi has confirmed that preliminary talks have already opened between the player and the Serie A leaders.[LNB]Preziosi admitted that Genoa would struggle to compete with Inter in terms of what they could offer the Argentinean star.[LNB]With clubs such as Tottenham and Juventus also expressing an interest, Milito looks certain to leave Luigi Ferrais in the summer.[LNB]Money talks"Milito has a deal with Genoa but we cannot pay him anymore than we do now," Preziosi told Corriere dello Sport.[LNB]"If Inter offer more money we will not be able to compete. We can only pay what we do now.[LNB]He added: "If Inter, or anyone else, wants to buy Milito, they have not only to make an offer to the player but to Genoa as well.[LNB]"If we receive an interesting offer we will sit down and discuss it. But it will have to be an interesting offer for us."[LNB]
