Tottenham are without midfielder Sandro for the visit of Manchester United after he suffered a serious knee injury in the draw at QPR last weekend which required him to undergo surgery.

Also out with a knee problem is long-term absentee Younes Kaboul, while William Gallas remains sidelined with a calf injury.

Emmanuel Adebayor is missing for Andre Villas-Boas' side as he is representing Togo at the African Cup of Nations. Manchester United are missing Darren Fletcher for the trip to White Hart Lane after it was revealed this week he will miss the remainder of the season with an ongoing bowel condition.

Nemanja Vidic and Jonny Evans could both return from concussion and a hamstring injury respectively. Ashley Young could miss out after picking up a knee injury in last weekend's victory over Liverpool.
