Ian Holloway desperate for home comforts at Blackpool
Crunch time: Blackpool manager Holloway[LNB]Blackpool boss Ian Holloway hopes his team of away-day specialists can start picking up a few more wins at home between now and the end of the season. [LNB]The Seasiders have fared much better so far in their maiden Barclays Premier League campaign than many expected, and with 12 fixtures still to play, they are two points clear of the relegation zone.[LNB] A great deal of their success so far has been achieved on the road, with Holloway's side notching five victories away from home, compared to the three times they have triumphed at Bloomfield Road. [LNB]The latest of those home wins, asuperb 2-1 defeat of Liverpool last month, was Blackpool's last victoryof any description, though, and with only one point earned from the sixmatches that have followed, Holloway wants to see the Tangerines makingthe most of the games at their own ground as they continue their battleto beat the drop. [LNB]'I'd just like it to balance out,' said Holloway. 'If it does, with the games that we've got, we'll be happy so we've just got to keep going. [LNB]'Ibelieve we're in a spell where we're not doing that much wrong and ifwe keep believing in ourselves and working hard, one of these days wemight get another decent home win. [LNB] 'It's been fantastic anyway, to be honest, and unfortunately the main thing we could do with - three points - has just evaded us, but the performances have been more than pleasing. [LNB]'Hopefully by the end of the season the fans will have got what they want and seen a few decent home wins.'[LNB]On Tuesday night Blackpool hostTottenham, whose attacking brand of football Holloway is confidentHarry Redknapp could transfer to the England team. [LNB]Sincebeing appointed as manager at White Hart Lane in 2008, Redknapp hascompletely transformed Spurs from Premier League strugglers to thedynamic outfit now competing in this season's Champions League knockoutrounds. [LNB] [LNB] Leading by example: Captain Charlie Adam has been a key man for Blackpool in their bid to stay in the top flight[LNB]The 63-year-old has frequently been tipped to succeed England head coach Fabio Capello when the Italian leaves his post in 2012, and Holloway feels Redknapp is the right man for the job. [LNB]'We'll have to leave that to the powers that be, but I for one would love to see him in that chair,' Holloway said. [LNB]'I think he can handle it and I think he'd get our players to play the way his clubs play - with a great deal of attacking prowess.
