I feel good, says fit-again Kranjcar

Tottenham midfielder Niko Kranjcar has declared himself fit and raring to go for the new season after recovering from ankle surgery.[LNB] The Croatia international picked up an injury in the FA Cup semi-final defeat to Portsmouth in April and missed the end of last season.[LNB]An operation was required but Kranjcar is now back in training with the other Spurs players who were not involved at the World Cup.[LNB]He is happy with the progress he has made and feels confident about being in peak condition for the start of the new campaign.[LNB]"I feel really good," Kranjcar said in the Daily Star. "I'm more or less back to doing everything.[LNB]"I've been working hard to get the ankle back to good health and hopefully I'll benefit from a longer pre-season than usual."[LNB]Tottenham face Manchester City on August 14 in their Premier League opener, while they will also play a UEFA Champions League qualifier a few days later.
