Huddlestone targets fortress Lane

Tom Huddlestone believes Tottenham need to improve their home record if they are to maintain their fight for a Champions League place.

Spurs dropped more points on home soil at the weekend after being held to a 1-1 draw by Everton while they have already lost at White Hart Lane to Wigan.

Things do not get any easier for Harry Redknapp's men this weekend as they battle Manchester United at Old Trafford, although Huddlestone believes spirit in the camp is high.

"At home, we feel we can beat anyone and if we want to cement ourselves in the top four this season, these are the sort of games we need to win," said Huddlestone.

"We've said for a while now that we have a lot of quality players here with a great team spirit and this is the best set of lads I've worked with, on and off the pitch."
