Tom Huddlestone is determined to hold onto his place in the England squad after his recall for Tuesday's Euro 2012 qualifier with Montenegro.[LNB] Tottenham midfielder Huddlestone was a notable absentee from Fabio Capello's first two squads of the season, with the 23-year-old having only just missed out on a place at the World Cup.[LNB]An injury to Frank Lampard appears to have handed Huddlestone his latest chance and it is one he plans to grab with both hands.[LNB]Tuesday's game could see him make his competitive international debut, with his other call-ups all being for friendly games.[LNB]"The only squads I've been in before have been for friendlies, so to be called up for a qualifier, a match that means a lot with three points at stake, is special," said Huddlestone, whose three previous caps came against Brazil, Mexico and Japan.[LNB]"It's nice to be a part of it. It seems like a long time since I was at the training camp before the World Cup and it's good to be back in the squad.[LNB]"At the same time, there are a few injuries as well, so you never know what would have happened if a few players had been fully fit."[LNB]Huddlestone added on his club's official website: "I've just got to try to do what I'm doing for Tottenham, try to stay in our team first and foremost and then try to get into the England squad as regularly as possible."
