Hoddle: Given time, Redknapp will earn his Spurs
Glenn Hoddle believes Harry Redknapp must be given time to succeed at Tottenham.
Redknapp replaced Juande Ramos as manager last October after the club endured a dreadful start to the campaign.
And the former Portsmouth boss steered Spurs clear of the relegation zone and up to eighth in the Barclays Premier League.
Former Tottenham boss Hoddle, speaking at his football academy in the south of Spain, believes Redknapp is the right man to lead his former club.
"It was a difficult season for them, there was too much change," he told Press Association Sport. "Let's hope that they settle now and leave Harry to do the job over the next few years.
"There has been too much change for too long. People like me, plus others, haven't been given enough time. Hopefully now they can have a big season and build on it, and allow Harry to do the job all Spurs fans want."
