Tottenham's triple swoop for Gabriel Heinze, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and Arjen Robben is more like a half-hearted flap. We like white shirts - but not Tottenham's: Real Madrid duo Arjen Robben (right) and Gabriel Heinze are unlikely to decamp and move to White Hart Lane Daniel Levy discussed a £30 million deal with Real Madrid for all three even though he had already judged the wages of their team-mate Ruud van Nistelrooy's way too rich for Spurs. Why did the Tottenham chairman think these three would be any different? There is a reason the Spanish club want them out and it isnot just because Heinze and Robben are injury-prone and not good enough. The extremely well-paid players have been seriously underwhelmed by the idea of moving to White Hart Lane too and Levy would be better off looking at realistic transfer targets rather than wasting his time on jaunts to the big league.
