Harry Redknapp should know better than to talk up Aaron Lennon's England prospects by now. The Tottenham winger seems to be in fine form and may even be starting to find the consistency that he has lacked but his manager knows that his final ball needs work.
Redknapp must also know after talking up Lennon's chances earlier this season that it doesn't bring him much luck. The Tottenham player faces a lot of competition for one of the wide berths with his country and even if he has impressed Fabio Capello, he may still have to be patient.
Lennon should keeping sprinting and scoring for Spurs and when he can cross more accurately too Harry will not have to promote his international attributes, everybody will be talking about them anyway - including the England manager.
