HATCHET MAN: Flash Harrys - Spurs manager Redknapp pinpoints his problems

Bent Bentley Redknapp, in trying to work out Bentley's thinking, said: 'I don't know if he got into a Tottenham mould, where he thought "we're at Tottenham now and we have to play the Tottenham style of football". [columnistModule]   'Maybe he thought he had to be a bit more entertaining, with a flick or something fancy. The work ethic suffered.' Now Harry loves a flair player, always has, and Spurs have had their share of tough grafters (you couldn't argue with Gary Mabbutt or Graham Roberts), but Redknapp is right, it is not what their name is based on or  what their fans seem to value most. To prove the point, here is a team's worth of players who have played for the club and each one seemed to fall over too easily, flick the ball too much, think they were God's gift to the game or care more about their appearance than their  performance. Tottenham's Flash Harrys: Ian Walker, Ramon Vega , David Kerslake, Jason Dozzell, David Bentley, David Ginola, Tim Sherwood, Bobby Zamora, Helder Postiga, Dimitar Berbatov, Mido [related]
