Harry Redknapp admits he has been impressed by the impact of Rafael van der Vaart, who the Tottenham boss believes is "real class".[LNB] Van der Vaart was a surprise arrival from Real Madrid just minutes before the close of the transfer window.[LNB]The Dutchman has caught the eye in his first few games for Spurs and Redknapp believes he brings an extra dimension to the side with his skill.[LNB]"He looks like a top player, real class," Redknapp told the club's official website. [LNB]"He plays in that position in the hole just behind the striker and finds space to get the ball.[LNB]"He's always on the move and always looking for the ball.[LNB]"He can receive the ball when it's tight and use his body to shield it, and if he's marked he can still receive the ball. That's a fantastic ability to have. [LNB]"He sees a pass, has a great left foot - he's a real quality player."[LNB]Redknapp has been surprised by van der Vaart's fitness as he arrived at the club having hardly figured at Real Madrid.[LNB]"He wasn't playing at Real Madrid so he came here not really having played any games," added Redknapp. [LNB]"He's done well to come in and play the games he's played in such a short space of time."
