The Tottenham manager won compensation from police after a raid on his home in November 2007 was declared to be 'unlawful'. Speaking in his column in the Sun, Redknapp said: "They won't let it go even though I've got nothing to hide. And you know why? Because it's me. It's a matter of around £10,000 in tax they think I owe but which is in dispute. "If it had been anyone else, a normal member of the public, they would have dropped it, or told them to pay up with a bit of interest and that would have been the end of the matter. "But not with me and I'm getting sick of it. It's been two years and this is what it has come down to. "They have wasted however many millions of pounds of taxpayers' money and this is all they have to show for it." On Friday, the odds of Redknapp becoming the first Premier League managerial departure of the 2009-2010 cropped from 50-1 to 5-4 on, despite the fact that Spurs have enjoyed their best start for 50 years and Redknapp added: "This is the biggest load of tripe I've ever seen.
