Eyes on the prize: Bale was in excellent form for Spurs again on Wednesday night [LNB]Harry Redknapp hailed Gareth Bale after seeing the Welsh star put in yet another impressive performance to move Tottenham into the knockout stages of the Champions League with a 3-0 thumping of Werder Bremen. [LNB]A second-half penalty miss aside, Bale put in an outstanding performance down the left flank just three weeks after he almost single-handedly destroyed reigning champions Inter Milan at White Hart Lane. [LNB]The 21-year-old ran Bremen full-back Clemens Fritz ragged throughout the victory and rattled the crossbar on two occasions against a sub-par German side. [LNB]Redknapp, whose side remain top of Group A on goal difference with one game remaining, applauded Aaron Lennon for his performance on the right wing but saved the biggest praise for former Southampton player Bale. [LNB]'Aaron is starting to go past people which is want we want him to do but some of the stuff Gareth did tonight was amazing,' said the Tottenham boss. 'Some of the crosses he put in tonight on the run were amazing. 'It was a bit like when we played Inter with their right-back. [LNB] Would you Luka that? Modric celebrates with Bale after scoring Tottenham's second [LNB]'We had reports about how good Bremen's right-back was, how he likes to get forward and trouble people but Gareth gave him a torrid time again.'[LNB] Redknapp also lavished praise on centre-half William Gallas, who skippered the side five days after leading Tottenham to victory against arch rivals Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. [LNB]'I thought he was fantastic again,' Redknapp added. '(Bremen winger Marko) Marin had him square around the box in the second half on the break at one point and I thought, "We're in trouble here", but he shuffled him down the line, held him up and took it off him. '[LNB]Injury: Jenas limped off after 20 minutes [LNB]It was a little bit reminiscent of Bobby (Moore) doing that to Jairzinho in the World Cup.[LNB]'He stayed on his feet and didn't go to ground. I made him captain again tonight and he responded to that, I think. He has been fantastic ever since he got here.'[LNB] Younes Kaboul followed up his derby winner by opening the scoring with a sixth-minute volley before Luka Modric doubled the hosts' advantage in first-half stoppage-time. [LNB]Peter Crouch then rounded off the scoring with 11 minutes to go to leave Redknapp beaming with pride at his side's performance, which came on the back of comprehensive European wins over Inter, Young Boys and FC Twente.[LNB] Redknapp said: 'We have played some great football here. Overall it was a good night for us again. We scored four against Young Boys, four against Twente, scored three against Milan and three tonight. We have played some great games, created some great chances and played some attractive football here.'[LNB]Jermaine Jenas will go for a scan on his calf after limping off 20 minutes into the match. [LNB]'JJ felt his calf tighten up,' Redknapp explained. 'He felt suddenly as if something had gone. He'll go for a scan in the morning. He may have caught it in time. It's a shame because he has been playing well.'
