Harry heaps praise on hot Hutton
Harry Redknapp reckons Alan Hutton can make himself the Gareth Bale of right-backs following his starring role against Wolves.[LNB] Hutton made a dream comeback in what was his first Spurs appearance since January on Saturday, coming off the bench and winning the equalising penalty before scoring his first goal for the club to seal a 3-1 victory.[LNB]The 25-year-old's White Hart Lane career looked to be under real threat last season when he was allowed to join Sunderland on loan.[LNB]The Black Cats also tried to make the move permanent but failed to meet Spurs' valuation of the Scotland international, who cost a reported £9million from Rangers in January 2008.[LNB]Hutton's time in north London has been blighted by a succession of serious injuries, while he was also implicated in the infamous 'Boozegate' affair while playing for his country 18 months ago.[LNB]But Tottenham boss Redknapp has assured him he still has a big future at the club if he reproduces Saturday's attacking performance and improves his game defensively.[LNB]Indeed, Redknapp believes Hutton could be as brilliant down the right-hand side for Spurs as Bale has been down the left.[LNB]He said: "I said to him after the game, 'You were great for us. You could do that for us week in, week out'.[LNB]"It gives you a Gareth Bale, if you like, on the other side - someone who can really get forward and cause people problems."[LNB]He added: "I want to see him push on; I want to see him have a great time here because he's capable of doing that."[LNB]Redknapp admitted he did not know if Hutton had played his last game for Spurs when he let him move to Sunderland in January.[LNB]But he insisted he had not been move trying to move the full-back on and is now even considering changing his system to get the best out of the defender.[LNB]He said: "I'm not just saying this. There is a player there; there's a real player there.[LNB]"He wasn't one that I wasn't keen to get rid of.[LNB]"There no-one I really tried to bomb out from this group.[LNB]"And he can play, Alan; he's a great, attacking right-back.[LNB]"If you wanted to change the system, play with three centre-halves, and if you had him and Bale as wing-backs, you would have two amazing attacking full-backs.[LNB]"They'd be up there with (Glen) Johnson and Ashley Cole in terms of getting forward.[LNB]"If you play with three centre-halves and change the system, it interests me and it's something I might do at times."
