Harry calls for replays

Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has called for the use of video replays following Howard Webb's refereeing blunder against Manchester United last weekend.[LNB] Webb awarded United a penalty with Spurs leading 2-0 for Heurelho Gomes' challenge on Michael Carrick when replays showed the keeper had got a touch to the ball.[LNB]The decision, which Webb has since admitted he got wrong, changed the game and Redknapp feels there is plenty of time in a match for the fourth official to review key moments before liaising with the referee.[LNB]Top referee"[Webb's] an honest man. He's an honest referee. He's a top referee," Redknapp told Sky Sports News. "He made a ricket you know we all saw that, but what can you do now? It's done.[LNB]"I still think that the fourth official, who is stood by. What is he doing there? What is the fourth official's job really?[LNB]"He should be looking at that monitor that is available there and key decisions like that would take 10, 15 or 20 seconds for him to say 'Howard - not a penalty, he's played the ball'."[LNB]EuropeSaturday's 5-2 defeat at Old Trafford left Spurs three points adrift of seventh-placed Fulham, but Redknapp insists his troops still have plenty to play for this season.[LNB]"There's a little group of us pushing for seventh. I'd like to do it. If we could do it I think it would be a good achievement to come from the bottom of the league to qualifying for Europe.[LNB]"I think it's something we'd all be pleased to do. We'll give it our best shot in the last few games and see what we can do."[LNB]Top fourRedknapp is hoping to go one better and maybe push for a UEFA Champions League spot next season.[LNB]"It's very difficult to break into the top four, but you have to aim to be there if you can.[LNB]"Tottenham is a big club with great resources so there's no reason why we can't one day break into that top four.[LNB]"So let's see what we can do next year and if we can do it that would be fantastic."[LNB]
