Harry Redknapp has hit out at his predecessor Juande Ramos for allowing Tottenham Hotspur players to party late into the night.[LNB]The current White Hart Lane boss has taken a hard line to prevent a drinking culture at he club and has warned his stars to stay away from nightclubs.[LNB]Redknapp spoke out when Peter Crouch and Jonathan Woodgate were recently photographed at a trendy London bar, but the celebratory drinks were nothing compared to what followed the Carling Cup victory over Chelsea in February last year.[LNB] Champagne moment: Spurs players celebrate after lifting the Carling Cup in February last year[LNB]A number of players - including captain Ledley King, Aaron Lennon, Jermaine Jenas, Tom Huddlestone, Steed Malbranque, Pascal Chimbonda and Younes Kaboul - were pictured worse for wear after the Wembley glory.[LNB]'There's nothing worse than seeing a picture of your player falling out of a night club,' Redknapp told the London Evening Standard.[LNB]The rules were different when the 62-year-old was in charge for this year's Carling Cup final against Manchester United. [LNB]Spurs lost, but Redknapp insists his players would have behaved even if they had beaten the champions.[LNB]'I would not allow what Ramos had after the Carling Cup win, no chance. We got beat but the players knew they were staying the night at the hotel, not going out. Everybody was in bed by 11pm, win or lose.'[LNB] Spotlight: Peter Crouch (left) was the centre of attention for the wrong reasons last month[LNB] [LNB]Youngsters' relationship with alcohol is not the only area of concern for Redknapp.[LNB]'There has been a massive failure in this country to educate football players at an early age. When they come to a club at 11 they should be taught what to eat. [LNB]'If they come to academies, we should talk to the mums and dads: how to prepare for a game and everything that goes with being a professional.[LNB]'Society has broken down. We used to leave our front door open when I grew up. Dad would take me to Highbury on the bus and share his flask of tea with opposition supporters. There was no segregation. [LNB]'Footballers used to be part of the same community the fans came from. That has been lost. Modern footballers are part of showbusiness.'[LNB] Spurs job should be my last - Harry Redknapp dreams of building a team to be proud of before hanging up his tracksuitRedknapp ready to seek family advice in new Spurs midfielder searchRoman relegated to Russia subs bench due to lack of first-team actionTottenham are top of the league!
