Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has admitted he would be interested in bringing David Beckham to White Hart Lane.[LNB] Reports have suggested Spurs could make a loan move for Beckham if he becomes available ahead of next year's World Cup.[LNB]Beckham is currently on loan at AC Milan until the end of the Serie A season before returning to Los Angeles Galaxy until the MLS campaign is over.[LNB]Milan have expressed an interest in re-signing Beckham once the MLS campaign comes to an end, while Spurs have been mooted as suitors for the midfielder should he consider another loan move to maintain his fitness ahead of his possible involvement for England at the World Cup in South Africa[LNB]Redknapp insists he has not considered a move for Beckham, but concedes he would be in the running to sign him if he became available.[LNB]"I have not thought about David Beckham, but it would be disrespectful of me to say I would not be interested in him, were he to become available," Redknapp told the London Evening Standard.[LNB]Role model"David Beckham is a fantastic player, but he is also a terrific role model and a terrific professional. If the opportunity was there to sign him, any club would have to think about it.[LNB]"He would still be a terrific player. His delivery of the ball remains exceptional, he is a great trainer and he is a local boy from up the road."[LNB]Redknapp is in no doubts Beckham will be part of Fabio Capello's squad for the 2010 World Cup should England make it.[LNB]"I think he will be part of the squad, for sure," Redknapp noted.[LNB]Redknapp also believes the signing of Beckham could only prove beneficial to Spurs, feeling the club's younger players could learn a lot from the 33-year-old.[LNB]"Imagine what the young players at the club could get from someone like that," Redknapp added.[LNB]"When I signed Teddy Sheringham for Portsmouth in 2003, he was worth his weight in gold.[LNB]"He was such a great professional that the other players all looked up to him in training. He did everything right, he was superb around the place, and that is what it is about.[LNB]"I have met him only once or twice, but he seems a great lad. To have someone like Beckham at your club . . . if the opportunity came and someone said he was available, any club would have to think about it."[LNB]
