Hamburg agree Rafael van der Vaart deal with Tottenham worth 10m

Hamburg and Tottenham have agreed a £10.3m deal for Dutch playmaker Rafael van der Vaart. The 29-year-old midfielder has long been linked with a return to his former club but the deal seemed to have stalled. It is another name to add to the list of players that Andre Villas-Boas is pushing out of the door at White Hart Lane. Deal: Hamburg have had a bid f or Rafael van der Vaart accepted Gylfi Sigurdsson was signed in the summer and is a natural replacement to play behind the striker in Van der Vaart's favoured position.
