Graham Poll: Gennaro Gattuso should be banned from White Hart Lane

Gennaro Gattuso is a pest and a pain, but I have also known him to be a charming man and a good professional. [LNB]He was anything but charming on Tuesday night as we saw the nasty side of his game. Twice he should have been sent off for assaulting Joe Jordan. Don't forget, you can still be shown the red card after the final whistle.[LNB]AC Milan 0 Spurs 1: Crouch is the San Siro hero as Harry's battlers win war Take that: a fired-up Gattuso grabs Spurs coach Jordan around the throat [LNB] I refereed him at the San Siro, where he plays to the crowd. It was against Barcelona and that was a tough experience. He was outskilled and so he tried to kick them.[LNB] I have refereed him on other occasions and never had to send him off, but I have cautioned him. He responds to a firm but friendly approach. I would tell him I knew his game; first warn him and then book him. [LNB]Last night, he saw a weak referee who was intimidated by the crowd. So he played up all night and was horrible and aggressive. [LNB] Italian job: the AC Milan skipper also had a run-in with Peter Crouch [LNB]UEFA must punish him now. He's banned from the second leg already after collecting a yellow card, now I hope they force him to stay away from White Hart Lane. [LNB]Milan will come to kick Spurs in the second leg. Harry Redknapp's men have the right to expect top-class officiating but Stephane Lannoy got the big decisions wrong. [LNB]Tottenham should have had a penalty in the first minute and Mathieu Flamini should have been given a red card for launching himself two-footed at Vedran Corluka. I hope it doesn't come back to haunt them in London.[LNB]  AC Milan 0 Tottenham 1: Peter Crouch is the San Siro hero as Harry Redknapp's battlers win warCHAMPIONS LEAGUE LIVE: AC Milan 0 Tottenham 1 - the action from the San Siro as it happenedTottenham Hotspur FC news from across the web [LNB]  Explore more:People: Harry Redknapp Places: Milan, London, Barcelona
