Gordon blow for Black Cats

Sunderland goalkeeper Craig Gordon suffered a fractured arm in the defeat at Tottenham and faces a spell on the sidelines.[LNB] He will have to withdraw from Scotland's squad for next Saturday's friendly against Wales.[LNB] Club medical staff will assess the severity of the injury in the coming days before determining how many matches he is likely to miss.[LNB] The Black Cats revealed Gordon's blow on their official website, explaining he suffered the fracture in a collision with Jermaine Defoe during Tottenham's 2-0 win at White Hart Lane.[LNB] Gordon, 26, had to be replaced by Marton Fulop midway through the second half of Saturday's match.[LNB] "Craig's in a lot of pain," said Sunderland manager Steve Bruce.
