Gascoigne involved in car crash
England legend Paul Gascoigne is recovering in hospital after being involved in a car accident in the early hours of Monday morning.[LNB] Gascoigne is in a comfortable condition in Newcastle General Hospital following the incident.[LNB]The 43-year-old, who won 57 caps for his country, has endured a troubled time after his playing career came to an end.[LNB]The former Newcastle, Tottenham, Lazio and Rangers player has battled alcohol addiction and depression in recent years.[LNB]He is currently awaiting trial having denied a charge of drink driving after being arrested in North Yorkshire in February.
