Gallas nears Spurs switch
William Gallas could be set to complete a sensational move from Arsenal to Tottenham this weekend, Press Association Sport understands.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp last week confirmed his interest in signing the 33-year-old France defender, who is a free agent after he failed to agree a new contract with the Gunners.
And it is understood there is now a very real prospect of him crossing the north London divide in the coming days.
The former Chelsea centre-back's wage demands - reportedly £80,000 per week - were thought to have been behind his departure from the Emirates Stadium.
But they have not put off Redknapp, who said last week: "His wages aren't a problem. He has not been greedy at all.
"His people have rung up and we spoke about it."
