Fourth spot for Spurs

Tottenham face an anxious wait to learn whether they will be playing Champions League football next season despite strolling to an easy 2-0 win over Fulham in the season-finale at White Hart Lane.

Emmanuel Adebayor slotted home in the second minute to put Spurs ahead and substitute Jermain Defoe wrapped up the win in the second half.

Arsenal's win at West Brom means Harry Redknapp's team have finished fourth in the Barclays Premier League, but they will be denied a place in Europe's top club competition next season if Chelsea beat Bayern Munich in the Champions League final on Saturday.
