Former Tottenham and England keeper Ian Walker new Bishop's Stortford manager

New career path: Walker has taken his first steps in management[LNB]Bishop's Stortford have appointed former Tottenham and England goalkeeper Ian Walker as their new manager. [LNB]Walker's playing career spanned 17 seasons and also included a four-year spell with Leicester City.[LNB]He joined Bolton in 2005 but failed to make a single league appearance during his three years at the Reebok.[LNB]Walker was capped four times by England, making his debut in 1996 against Hungary.[LNB]He brought the curtain down on his international career in 2004 when he featured from the bench against Iceland.[LNB]Former Newport County No 2 Fraser Skimming has been named as his assistant and first team coach at the Conference South club.[LNB]Chairman Luigi Del Basso said: 'This is an exciting appointment for the club.[LNB]'We are pleased to be able to bring an experienced player like Ian to the club following what has been a difficult recent few weeks.'[LNB]  Let's finish the year with one!
