Real Madrid defender Gabriel Heinze has given Tottenham Hotspur hope of securing his signature after admitting he would welcome a return to the Barclays Premier League. Spurs have held talks with the Spanish giants over a move for the former Manchester United full-back and could step up their pursuit of the Argentina international after Heinze revealed he would be keen on a return to English football. 'I would not mind playing Premier League football again,' the 31-year-old told Argentine news agency Telam. 'I am aware that several clubs are interested, but I must speak with Real Madrid first. 'I have no idea of where I am going to end up and I am yet to think about my future. I have a contract with Real Madrid and you have to have a professional attitude. 'For sure we will sit down and talk. Still I have one year left on my contract and sharing dressing rooms with amazing players will be great.' Tottenham are also interested Heinze's Bernabeu team-mates Arjen Robben, Klass-Jan Huntelaar and have linked with Wesley Sneijder.
