The truth is there are many teams interested and that is what we are dealing with right now. I am ready for whatever will happen. I have not spoken to him (Redknapp), but everything is normal as with any other manager.' Despite the speculation linking Giovani with a move, reports in The Sun suggested the Mexican is happy to fight for his place at Tottenham and prove he can handle the physical demands of the Premier League. He said: 'I have never spoken to Lyon and I would like to stay at Tottenham, because ever since I have come to the club I have not had any luck.
