Still got it: King is highly rated despite fitness issues[LNB]Fabio Capello could turn to Ledley King in an attempt to solve his defensive crisis. It is almost three years since King last played for England. [LNB]But in light of Rio Ferdinand's back injury and John Terry's poor form, the Tottenham defender is back in Capello's World Cup thoughts.[LNB] King's chronic knee problems mean he cannot play two games in quick succession and he does not train with the Spurs team.[LNB] But he could still play a vital role in the tournament as the manager juggles players to keep them fresh and avoid suspensions. [LNB]Capello must decide - in conjunction with Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp -whether it is feasible to take 29-year-old King to South Africa knowing he will not be available for every game. [LNB]The England boss could use King's presence to manage the fitness of Ferdinand, troubled all season by a back problem, although that would go against Capello's principles of not taking crocked players. [LNB]King, still regarded as one of the finest markers in the country, is currently out with a groin strain, but would not have been considered for tomorrow's friendly against Egypt because he did not play for Spurs on Sunday.
