Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp believes he is unlikely to ever be offered the opportunity to manage England.[LNB] The experienced coach has been touted as a potential national team boss in the past, with his proven track record at the highest level marking him out as a leading candidate.[LNB]His man-management skills and patriotism are well documented and it is felt that he could be the man to bring the best out of the Three Lions.[LNB]The Football Association have made it clear that they intend to appoint an English coach once Fabio Capello vacates the role in 2012, suggesting the door could be opened for Redknapp.[LNB]However, the Tottenham Hotspur boss claims he does not expect to get a call, as he feels his outspoken approach could ruffle a few too many feathers around Soho Square.[LNB]"I'd like to start by saying I'm very happy here at Tottenham, but I don't think the FA would ever go for me anyway," Redknapp told the Daily Mail.[LNB]"I don't think I would ever get the job. I don't know why exactly. I just get the feeling that maybe I wouldn't be their cup of tea. [LNB]"When Capello eventually moves on, I suspect they'll go for a younger man, even though I think it's a job that demands experience. But they're saying they want an Englishman, and while I'd like to see that, I don't see anybody jumping out at me. [LNB]"If Roy (Hodgson) does great at Liverpool he could be a contender but by the time Capello moves on Roy's 65, and you have to wonder if he'd still want it. Right now, I'm just not sure there's an obvious replacement."
