Wigan full-back Erik Edman has attracted interest from across Europe, according to his agent.
Edman, 31, has not figured for the club in the last two weeks following the 9-1 thrashing by Tottenham.
The Swede's contract is up in June but he could move on when the transfer window opens next month.
Edman's agent Allan Bak Jensen told Aftonbladet: 'There is interest in Erik from Holland, that is correct. But clubs from France, Denmark, England and Sweden have also contacted me.
'I am talking to Wigan and it is up to the club if they are prepared to let Erik go in January.'
It is understood former England manager Steve McClaren wanted to take former Heerenveen defender Edman to FC Twente in the summer.
Jensen added: 'I am not commenting on any specific clubs but Erik has a very good reputation in Holland.'
