Marseille coach Didier Deschamps has no plans to sell Taye Taiwo, despite reported interest in the Nigeria defender from Tottenham.[LNB] The 25-year-old left-back is keen to get regular football after seeing his first-team opportunities at OM limited last term by the arrival of Gabriel Heinze from Real Madrid.[LNB]But Deschamps appears keen to keep Taiwo at the Stade Velodrome and could offer him a new deal, with his current contract set to expire next summer.[LNB]"He is here and will be here until the end of the season," Deschamps told La Provence.[LNB]"He is under contract for another year. We have an interest in prolonging it so that he is not free in 2011. I need him, especially as a replacement would cost me more money. I count on him."[LNB]
