Dervite leaves Spurs for Villarreal

Tottenham Hotspur misfit Dorian Dervite is set to complete a move to Spanish Primera Division side Villarreal.[LNB] The 22-year-old has made just one senior appearance for Spurs in more than four years at White Hart Lane and they have now agreed a deal for him to join the Spanish side.[LNB]Dervite was signed from Lille by former White Hart Lane boss Martin Jol in the summer of 2006, with his only first-team match a Carling Cup tie against Port Vale that November, after which he suffered a serious knee injury.[LNB]He spent more than four months on loan at Southend in early 2009 as he failed to earn himself a place in Harry Redknapp's plans.
