Defoe In Squad For Sunderland Game
Harry Redknapp has confirmed that Jermain Defoe will return to the Spurs squad for the Premier League game against Sunderland this weekend. Defoe, who has missed the last three games with a hamstring injury, has returned to training and will be in the Spurs squad that travel to the Stadium of Light this Saturday. "It's great news. Jermain trained fully today and is in the squad for the weekend," Redknapp told The Sun. "I'm really pleased. He's a terrific little striker and a fighter. It's great to have him back so soon."
