Defensive woe for Redknapp

31 January 2010 09:48
Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp was left to rue Liam Ridgewell's last-minute goal as his side drew 1-1 at Birmingham. Jermain Defoe's opener looked to have set the Champions League hopefuls on their way to a vital win until Ridgewell's late intervention. Redknapp said: "We deserved to win and the goal we gave away was horrendous. We defended poorly. "Until we went ahead, Birmingham were never in the game but then we sat off them, invited them onto us and that was the problem."
