David Beckham injured at Spurs

David Beckham limped out of training during his second day with Tottenham's first-team squad.[LNB]Initial fears of a serious blow were quickly nipped in the bud as it emerged that the veteran midfielder was only suffering from a blister.[LNB] Scare: David Beckham was forced to sit out some of Wednesday's training session[LNB] [LNB]Time appears to be running out on a deal that would allow him to play for the club.[LNB]LA Galaxy are reluctant to sanction any deal that would rule Beckham, 35, out of the start of the MLS season, which begins on March 15.[LNB]Beckham is prepared to take a pay cuton his £120,000-a-week wages to play for Tottenham, but the Premier League club want him beyond February 10, when he is due to return to America.[LNB]Spurs boss Harry Redknapp, however, remains hopeful a deal can be done.[LNB]He said: 'It's complicated but you never know. We'll see how it goes. He's a fit lad, he looks like he's ingreat condition, looks like he looks after himself, he's a model professional so that won't be a problem.[LNB]'It's great to have him here. We worked hard to get him here hoping that he could come and play.[LNB]'No-one could have worked harder thanDaniel Levy, the chairman. They grafted away trying to get a deal done where he could play for us. It's a bit complicated but you never know. We'll see how it goes.[LNB]'They work on that side of it. I've got the easy part. I just identify people, say "I'd like to get David - Ithink he'd be good for us". 'It's up to them.
