The build-up to the FA Cup has been eclipsed by England's Ashes glory, but David Beckham could be back in English football by tomorrow to add some much-needed glamour to the competition. [LNB]Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp believes Beckham's eight-week loan deal from LA Galaxy could be completed by the time his side take on Charlton Athletic at White Hart Lane. [LNB]Redknapp, who hopes the former England captain will attend tomorrow's third-round match, said the deal was '90 per cent done' and added: 'There is a good chance that we will get David Beckham in here. [LNB]'It's just a case of sorting out the length of the loan and one or two bits and pieces. He could be here on Sunday.'[LNB] Is that the way to White Hart Lane? Beckham looks set to join Tottenham on loan [LNB]Beckham, who plans to travel toEngland from Los Angeles over the weekend, has assured the MLS side hewill not seek a loan deal with any club other than Tottenham. [LNB]If the deal falls through he will just train with another English side.[LNB]There are still some details to beworked out before the deal can be finalised but the player's lucrativeimage rights will not be an issue, as this is a matter to be arrangedbetween Beckham and Tottenham.[LNB]However, LA Galaxy will insist Spurspay all of Beckham's £80,000-a-week wages and insure him againstinjury. [LNB]He added: 'He wouldn't come if hewasn't fit. He's not a punch-drunk heavyweight champion coming back, ishe, who's washed up, skint[LNB]and comes and has another fight and gets knocked out? [LNB]'He wants to play football. Mostplayers would sit around thinking: 'That's OK. I've got eight weeks nowto sit around the pool'. But he wants to play. It tells you everythingabout him. [LNB]'That's probably why he's had such a great career.'[LNB]Pastures new: Bentley[LNB]Beckham's likely arrival also spells the end for David Bentley, who has made just three appearances this season for Spurs.[LNB]Last night he was on his way toBirmingham after a loan deal was agreed and he will complete the dealafter a medical over the weekend.[LNB]Redknapp suggested the fans' reaction had not helped Bentley. He said: 'David's got fantastic talent and great ability.[LNB]'I played him against Arsenal, he'dbeen injured, came back and played his first game and did well, but thecrowd was on him a bit. They were waiting for him to make a mistake andit's not easy when you play like that. [LNB]'He was low after the game. He was disappointed and I thought, 'Maybe it's time for him to move on'. [LNB]'He could go somewhere else and then do great.'[LNB]  Martin Samuel: Why I would let Beckham run English footballSpurs winger Bentley to have medical at Birmingham after agreeing loan dealSpurs boost defensive ranks by snapping up South African KhumaloAll the latest Tottenham news, features and opinion [LNB] [LNB]  Explore more:People: David Bentley, David Beckham, Harry Redknapp Places: Los Angeles, United Kingdom
