Danny Ings heading for White Hart Lane?

The England striker has been in fine form for Burnley and his seven goals make him the club’s top scorer. The player is considered of huge value to the Clarets, helping to lift them out of the relegation zone this term, albeit by a sing point.

The player is of interest to a few Premier League clubs including Man City and Chelsea but it seem Spurs think they can snap the player up more cheaply in January rather than risk a bidding war in the summer.

Despite the Burnley manager Sean Dyche maintaining that Ings was going nowhere in January the speculation it seems is intensifying with clubs like Spurs now showing their cards in looking to acquire one of English football’s most exciting young strikers.

The report in the Mirror states that the English striker could be heading to Tottenham for as little as £5million which seems to represent incredible value to us. It is likely that Burnley will at least have a decision to make if a £5million bid does materialise which will be more that the £3m training compensation they would otherwise have received.

The 22-year-old who launched his senior career at Bournemouth has gone on to make 106 league appearances for Burnley since joining in 2011 and scored 34 league goals.
