Goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini has signed a new one-year contract at Tottenham after making good progress in his recovery from injury.[LNB] The Italian underwent surgery on his right wrist and pelvis after a motorbike accident last November, which ruled the player out for the rest of the season.[LNB]Cudicini has now resumed training and will work with goalkeeping coach Tony Parks over the summer to improve his fitness ahead of the new campaign.[LNB]Head of medical services Wayne Diesel told the club's website: "We are delighted at how well Carlo has progressed.[LNB]"He has shown a great deal of self-discipline and motivation to come back from this."[LNB]The 36-year-old moved to White Hart Lane from London rivals Chelsea in January 2009 and made four first-team appearances in the second half of the 2008-09 term and featured on seven occasions in 2009/10 before the accident.[LNB]Spurs boss Harry Redknapp revealed after the incident, which happened when Cudicini was on his way to training, that he was unaware the player rode a motorbike.[LNB]"We don't let them do it," he said. "I've never even thought about a player riding a motorbike. We didn't know he had a bike and I'm sure he won't be riding one again to work."
